The internationally renowned violinist Paul Barritt played for CRAG with Maggie Cole in 2024 and enjoyed the experience so much that he immediately offered to return. This time he will be performing with the soprano Katy Thomson, who was a Garsington Opera Young Artist in 2021 and regularly features at the Oxford International Song Festival, and the pianist Ana Manastireanu, an increasingly sought-after collaborative pianist, who has won multiple awards including Accompanist Prizes in the AESS Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition.
They will be playing a programme of music by Spohr, Amy Beach, Villa-Lobos and Schubert.
CRAG’s Sunday Tea Concerts are held in the Memorial Hall, Browns Lane, Charlbury at 3pm.
The music lasts approximately one hour and is always followed by complimentary tea and CRAG’s legendary homemade cake.
Tickets for this concert are £18 (£5 for under-15s).
