We are thrilled to welcome Margaret Fingerhut for her fourth CRAG concert. Margaret is one of the UK’s best-loved pianists and her distinguished career has taken her to many countries across the globe. Her acclaimed and extensive discography reflects her long-standing fascination with exploring lesser-known repertoire. She was awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours in recognition of her services to music and charitable fundraising.
The programme will offer a colourful snapshot of Parisian musical life at the turn of the 20th century, inspired by a collection of homages to Joseph Haydn. Works by Debussy, Ravel, Widor, Dukas, D’Indy, Hahn and of course, Haydn himself.
All proceeds go to refugee relief.
