CRAG Sunday Tea Concert: Philippa Davies and Maggie Cole

Chamber concerts featuring the wonderful pianist and harpsichordist Maggie Cole have become a regular event at the CRAG tea concerts. This year she will be joined again by the renowned flautist Philippa Davies who has already given two wonderful concerts for CRAG. As a recitalist Philippa performs and broadcasts throughout the world at international festivals has performed concertos with the New Stockholm Chamber Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the English Chamber Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia and the London Mozart Players.

Philippa and Maggie will be exploring the repertoire for flute and harpsichord, performing works by J.S. and C.P.E Bach interspersed with exciting contemporary works.

CRAG’s Sunday Tea Concerts are held in the Memorial Hall, Browns Lane, Charlbury at 3pm.

The music lasts approximately one hour and is always followed by complimentary tea and CRAG’s legendary homemade cake.

Tickets for this concert are £18 (£5 for under-15s).
